Warranties & Repair
1. Faulty goods must be returned to CafeVIVA with a valid invoice.
2. The warranty on goods purchased from CafeVIVA is only valid for CafeVIVA’s customers with a valid invoice & within the goods’ warranty period.
3. All goods have a 12 month warranty period from date of purchase (Unless specified otherwise).
4. The warranty on any goods will be void if the serial number or its label is damaged or missing.
5. Goods that are submitted for repair will not be accepted without a written fault description. CafeVIVA does not deliver repaired goods; it is the responsibility of the customer to collect repaired goods.
6. Should the goods be defective within 30 days of purchase, it will be replaced or credited if stock is unavailable within 48 hours after being tested by CafeVIVA’s technicians.
7. In the event of a performance failure; goods that can be repaired will not be swapped out and will be repaired by CafeVIVA if the goods are still within the warranty period. If the goods cannot be repaired by CafeVIVA, CafeVIVA will replace the goods if the goods are still within the warranty period.
8. In the event that goods must be repaired by an external authorised service agent, CafeVIVA cannot be held liable for delays of goods or damage of goods while the goods are in possession of an external authorised service agent.
9. The warranty will be void if goods have been defaced or tampered with in any way; this includes writing, scratches, scuff marks, discolouration, cracks, water damage, insect or pest infestation & burn marks.
10. The warranty will be void if goods have been found to be mishandled, struck by lightning or damaged by electrical power surges.
11. CafeVIVA is not liable for the replacement of any cables, software or ink cartridge loss that may or may not have occurred while goods were booked-in for repair.
12. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up their data before submitting their goods for support or repair to CafeVIVA. CafeVIVA will not be held liable for any loss of data.
13. 7-DAY D.O.A. (DEAD ON ARRIVAL) WARRANTY ON CABLES FROM DATE OF PURCHASE INVOICE
